EP 126 \ Am I Fear Mongering About Hospital Birth?

Twice recently I have had reviews that accused me of being a fear mongerer because I tell the truth about hospital birth.  I'm not scared of negative reviews because it means I've hit a nerve -- that's good!  Let's talk about it. Galatians 4:16 says, "Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?"  Sometimes the truth hurts, and sometimes warnings are needed when real danger awaits.  I'm diving into the hornet's nest today as I face the bad reviews.

EP 122 \ CLASSIC REPLAY: Christmas Is Not A Good Reason For Induction (And Neither Is Any Other Holiday)

Just your annual reminder that "NO, thank you" is a complete sentence when your doctor or midwife start saying things like "Let's pick your induction date" or "If you want to make sure I'm there, we need to induce on ____."  If your baby isn't here yet, your baby isn't ready.  Wait on God.  Your labor will come at the perfect time!

There's a moment in time during active labor between stage one and stage two called "transition". Cytotec is commonly used in maternity units across the country for cervical ripening and also for postpartum hemorrhage...but should it be?  Today we'll learn all about Cytotec (misoprostol) directly for the drug insert.
