Today's show is not fun, but it is something moms need to know, preferably before they might need it. Today we're talking about what to do if you suffer from a miscarriage. While it is an impossible time and an impossible thought, it is a time you'll have to make a lot of decisions, so I want to help you be able to walk through it.

In our culture, tons of money gets spent on the baby nursery. Moms spend hours loading up their baby registry with stuff they really don’t need and most likely will never use. Twice recently I have had reviews that accused me of being a fear mongerer because I tell the truth about hospital birth. I'm not scared of negative reviews because it means I've hit a nerve -- that's good! Let's talk about it. Galatians 4:16 says, "Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?" Sometimes the truth hurts, and sometimes warnings are needed when real danger awaits. I'm diving into the hornet's nest today as I face the bad reviews.

There's a moment in time during active labor between stage one and stage two called "transition". This is a time when really everything about labor changes. It is in this moment that many moms are thrown off of their game and they abandon their plan because they don't understand the flow of labor and they think they can't do it anymore, not realizing they're almost there. Cytotec is commonly used in maternity units across the country for cervical ripening and also for postpartum hemorrhage...but should it be?
